The daily EIA spot series was re-pulled before launch. The wholesale proxy moved ten percent in the fortnight the desk sat unpublished, which is exactly the kind of move the lag marks exist to disclose rather than paper over.

All three were checked on 10 September 2026 and none publishes a rate card. Certas states on its own price guide page that it cannot provide an accurate UK-wide live feed of current heating oil prices. No inferred rate was substituted, and the UK desk therefore ships no supplier directory.

State level EIA prints for the last week of the season were added so the spread between the cheapest and dearest markets is visible. On a 275 gallon fill that spread is worth $533.78, which is larger than most households assume.

The March 2026 print of 104.05p is large enough on its own to make March the dearest month across the whole series. That is a single shock, not a seasonal pattern. Both versions of the month means are now published side by side and the pattern claim uses the version with 2026 excluded.

Four kinds of entry appear here. A source revision is the publisher changing its own number. A scheduled refresh is a new print arriving on time. Our correction is us being wrong. A withdrawal is a figure we intended to publish and then decided we could not stand behind.
The last of those is the one worth reading. Three of the entries below are things this site chose not to publish. That is the point of keeping the log in public.
