Why South West has no separate published price
The official UK series is a single national observation. It is priced on the Monday nearest the fifteenth of the month, for deliveries up to 1,000 litres, with VAT at 5% included. There is no regional breakdown behind it, and nobody else publishes one for Great Britain either.
Sites that show you a regional price for a GB region are showing you either a national figure with a regional label on it, or a set of quotes collected from sellers. This page does the first of those and says so, which is the only honest version of it.
The local geography, and what it does to a delivery
Peninsular geography means depots sit at one end of a long delivery corridor. A round out to west Cornwall and back is a day, not a morning, and that is reflected in how suppliers schedule rather than in a published surcharge.
Delivery
This is the strongest region in England for buying syndicates, precisely because the drops cluster. A parish that can put twenty tanks on one round is worth a keener price to a depot than twenty scattered addresses.
